Home Business Reviews- What To Watch Out For

Home-Based Business Reviews, What To Watch Out For
By
Daniel McGonagle

When deciding to open a home-based business, it is not wise to jump into any opportunity that comes your way. Not every business is for every person and vice versa. The suggestion is that you do ample research before choosing the business for you. Home based business review sites are a starting point, but beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing!

There are literally hundreds, possibly thousands, of business opportunities available on the Internet. You can work as an affiliate, open your own website, create your own product line or even open an EBay store. The options really are endless, but all have one common thread running through them. That is that they promise you that you will make LOTS of money REAL easy. Before you believe the hype, do some looking.

The average home-based business is just a mom or dad trying to make a little extra cash on the side. If you aren’t careful, you can spend more than you make and end up in disaster instead.

Home based business review sites offer insights into the most popular business opportunities on the Internet. The reviews will include screen shots of the program pages, back office area, reports you can generate and income tracking. Most will also give you reviews of marketing materials and ads that are available to the marketer. There is one thing to be aware of here and that is these home based business review sites are looking to sell you something. You must realize that the review site you are using is itself a home based business!

While these sites can offer good information, their good intentions can be overshadowed by their desire to make money off of your pursuit of Internet riches. You must take what these sites tell you with a grain of salt and be very careful what you believe.

How can you avoid this type of pitfall? By being selective in whom you speak with and where you look for information.

The best home based business reviews will come from somebody with practical experience and some knowledge of basic Internet marketing skills. This person will have no monetary incentive to mislead you or tell half-truths. Talk to your friends, family and neighbors to gain their impressions. In other words, talk to somebody who does not stand to gain from your inquisition, somebody who isn’t selling you anything.

I have found some of the best data from marketers who have been in business for a while and know what to look for. So ask general questions about what to look for and then apply those ideas to whatever business opportunity you are looking at. See if it measures up to what the experienced marketer had to say.

Most Internet marketers know what to look for in an opportunity, especially if they have been at it for a while. The scams become transparent and no longer a threat, so you can learn this skill as well. The bad risks become apparent and the clone sites are more visible. You just need to know what to look for and who better to ask than a friend who’s been there.

NO OFFENSE, but you’re probably making some internet marketing mistakes
right now so check out the free report being given away at http://internetmarketingmistakes.org

The Top Ten Internet Marketing Mistakes

The Top Ten Internet Marketing Mistakes – What Online Marketing Mistakes Are You Making?  By Daniel McGonagle

There are more and more people coming online every day trying to earn money online, especially with the global downturn regarding the economic outlook.

When more people come online some “new” programs arise and it’s the new-comers to the internet marketing scene that get caught up by blatant false statements made my promoters of certain programs.

One of the most common types of programs are the ones that promise you all you have to do is get other newcomers to join your free site via your referral link, then once they are in the system, they are encouraged to join several other monthly programs in order to be an affiliate.

How is this a business?

Do you really want a business or do you just want to promote something as an affiliate in order to earn some sort of income?

That’s a hard question to answer if you are still trying to figure out what exactly it is you want to do online…

However, one of the top internet marketing mistakes is building someone else’s list for them instead of your own.

What many people don’t know is that the successes and riches being reported by certain affiliates are either not true, or only possible because they built their list up first.

It is natural to make mistakes when you’re first starting out with something new like an internet business, but you need to be aware of what those mistakes are, and realize how to move past them.

As mentioned above, building someone else’s list is one of the most common mistakes new-comers to internet marketing make. There are many other mistakes you will make along the way, so please be aware of that and become a student of this business and industry, and learn from what does and does not work.

How To Stop LOSING Money Online

Is Your Online Business Taking More Out of Your Pocket Than is Going In?

Is Your Online Business Taking More Out of Your Pocket Than is Going In?
By Daniel McGonagle

Everyone is telling you how to make money online, if you would only just buy this, that, and the other thing, and everything etc….

Not too many people seemed concerned enough to mention to you how to stop losing money…

It is real easy to get caught up buying into a lot of programs you think you need to succeed with internet marketing. Paid mentoring, paid coaching, paid traffic, paid forums, membership sites are all examples of programs that may not be doing you any good right now. Some people just don’t know how to write well enough to convert web site visitors into sales, so the paid link building services won’t help them achieve the income they deserve, either but it will help their rankings.

If you know enough about SEO to get top rankings, you still need to convert those visitors into paid clients. If you don’t know enough about your niche, then you might be targeting the wrong keywords to rank well for, too. The best way to succeed with anything is to keep it simple. You need to sell stuff to people who want to buy it from you, and that means knowing your niche and exactly what their needs are.

Is your online business taking more out of your pocket than is going in? That is indeed a common problem with many aspiring marketers, but it’s the ones who focus on one thing at a time and keep it real simple that do the best. You need to be patient with yourself and your expected business growth. You also need to be a student of the online marketing game, and not a victim.

Stop using whatever service or monthly program that doesn’t help you in a tangible way, but try to get the most out of those programs before canceling those memberships. In time, you will see that you know what it is you want to do online and the only services you will be using are ones that do stuff for you that you just don’t have time for anymore, like link-building services or other laborious time-consuming tasks like writing content for your niche sites.

Spider Web Marketing System Review

In a Previous post on the Spider Web Marketing System, I wrote that I was too lazy to write my own review.  Well, I don’t stay lazy for long, so here is my Spider Web Marketing System Review (from EzineArticles.com)

SpiderWeb Marketing System – An Honest Review of the Spiderweb Marketing System
By
Daniel McGonagle

It’s free to join but in order to make something out of the program you will need to join several other services and paid-for programs. Then, after joining, it’s up to you to get people to join the SpiderWeb Marketing System via your referral link.

Once you get people to join via your referral link, you make money when you refer people to those paid programs. This is very similar to the PayItForward4Profits program because it is initially free to join but you end up paying for a bunch of other residual programs just to have something to earn income from as an affiliate.

So, the way you make money with this system, if you make money with this system, is by referring people to join the paid-for services and programs you joined. The added downside to all of this is that the programs you are urged to join will scatter your focus like a NorthEast wind blowing leaves all across a lawn in October in New England.

If you find yourself attending different training calls and opportunity calls and having to explain to your new referrals what each program is all about and why they should join, then you’ll probably end up spending a lot of time explaining things and very little time making any money.

One of the top ten internet marketing mistakes is not promoting yourself first, and that will always be true. Don’t build the SpiderWeb Marketing System’s list by referring people to their program, build your own list instead.

SpiderWeb Marketing System – A Review

SpiderWeb Marketing System – A Review

I’ve heard a lot about this “marketing system” so I decided to read up on it for a bit then give it a review.

However, it doesn’t seem like it’s anything different so there’s really no reason to invest some time and effort into working the system just for the sake of reviewing it myself.

Here is a link to a blog post, or page from someone who has reviewed this program from the inside out.

Head on over there and thank him for his review, and for saving you time

Niche Affiliate Marketing – How To Succeed With Niche Marketing

3 Steps For Niche Affiliate Marketing Success – Niche Marketing Myths Uncovered
By
Daniel McGonagle

What is Niche Affiliate Marketing?

Niche Marketing is when you focus your attentions on a specific niche in order to ascertain and fulfil that niche audience’s needs. Some of the myths about Niche Affiliate Marketing are as follows:

1- Focus on what you love to do

2- Sell digital products

3- Build your own websites

Those 3 items above are actually decent niche marketing tips but the fact of the matter is, if you gathered up some PLR (private label rights) material and sold them off your niche website, or even off a Squidoo Lens, then you’re sure to do well.

You don’t have to focus on what you love to succeed with niche affiliate marketing, you don’t necessarily need your own websites, and some niches don’t do too well for digital products but do very well for other types of products.

The point here is that there’s a lot of good advice out there about niche marketing but the real proof of effective niche marketing strategies comes from copying what real successful niche marketers do.

So what do successful niche marketers do?

They do things the easiest way possible. They get a Squidooo lens, then build some entries and content for it and see if there’s any traffic coming to it. If there’s traffic coming to that lens in high enough volume and it’s producing income, then it’s time to expand upon that premise some more by getting a domain name and self-hosted blog or website.

Niche affiliate marketing is for those who want to make money the easiest way possible, and getting a Squidoo Lens prior to building a website is a great niche marketing tip I hope you remember and apply.
