Article Marketing Guide – Article Insider Profits

Some people suggest that article marketing for affiliate marketing sales is a boring old story since it’s a method that’s been around forever, and requires grunt work such as the tedious writing and submission of articles to article directories.

And that’s exactly why it works for those who stick with it!

For all intents and purposes, article marketing is a great way to do niche and keyword research merely by writing about a specific topic and seeing how many views and click-thrus your article gets.

Imagine this if you will (geez I sound like Alfred Hitchcock there)…

You think you stumbled across a good niche and aren’t sure if there’s real interest online for it, and you might not be too sure if people are buying products in this niche.

So what do you do here with your niche idea?

Write an article, submit to an article directory, and send the traffic from your article to a free blog, Squidoo lens or hubpage, free wordpress site etc… as your landing page.

To write and submit a 250-word article requires about 15 minutes of time, if that.

To set up a free site at any of the places mentioned above takes another 15 minutes.

So, after 30 minutes of work, yes I said the 4-letter word, WORK…. You can have a system set up to ascertain the quality of the niche for monetization.

Speaking of monetization, when you first came up with the idea for the niche, you probably went to ClickBank or Amazon, or elsewhere to see what product you could sell for this niche, right?

Along the way during this process you probably discovered enough information about the subject matter to write a decent article on it so write that article, create a free site to serve as your landing page and see what happens.

My marketing buddy Fabian Tab came out with his product on Article Marketing recently and it’s a good product.

He’s has $690.00 days with article marketing and has had even better days doing joint ventures, too.

Now, some people say that it’s hard to get article marketing traffic in competitive niches like the IM niche and the health niche, but those are the 2 niches he has had a focus on with his article marketing efforts.

Article marketing works if you stick with it, just like anything else but the reason it’s so powerful is because of all the extra benefits you get from article marketing.

For instance, many people are looking for content to add to their sites so they will re-publish your published articles and hopefully leave your links intact.

This means your content is seen elsewhere, automatically, therefore syndicated to some degree. This syndication of your content adds to the number of backlinks you get back to your site/landing page and also helps bring in some extra traffic.

The content and backlink syndication merely grows over time, as does the traffic from your articles.

The key to article marketing is tweaking your signature file to get about 20% click thru rate, or more and Fabian discusses how to do this in Article Insider Profits.
